Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver - Class 3 to join our transportation team. This role involves safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to safety regulations. Duties
- Safely operate Class 3 commercial trucks for freight transportation across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Assist with freight handling, including securing loads and verifying shipment accuracy
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse personnel to coordinate schedules and deliveries
Experience
- Valid Class 3 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Prior experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and freight handling
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various conditions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and load management
- Ability to work independently and adhere to strict schedules in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
