Hiring an experienced tandem dump truck driver for steady in city hauling for the 2026 construction season. Must have experience hauling asphalt and aggregates for paving, loading from silo's at various plants, dumping in paver, and following directions/maps carefully. Clean commercial drivers abstract required as well as valid class 3 with airbrakes endorsement. Smart phone with internet data access required.
Will be hauling primarily asphalt and aggregate for paving/base crew. Some responsibilities are: safety documentation and reporting such as hazard assessments and pre-trip inspections, safely load at various plants from silo or loader, navigate to job site following maps or directions, back up truck in tight areas and work around other equipment and workers, dump in paver, closely follow directions of spotters and operators, get pushed by paver while dumping, clean out and scrape box, keep cab clean, log trips and track loads, use of smart phone for trucking app to track load tickets GPS etc., follow site maps orientations speed limits PPE requirements etc., maintain safe work environment and closely follow safety program and all site rules, work days, work weekends, work night shift as needed(rarely nights), communicate with dispatcher via cell phone or CB radio. Other responsibilities as needed.
