POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for all functions associated with material warehousing including picking orders, shipping and receiving. The Warehouse Associate will perform all duties in a timely and orderly fashion to the best of their abilities and with the utmost due care, integrity and professionalism. This role is the gateway to a future career for an individual with the right motivation, drive and initiative.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
General Duties:
- Make a personal commitment to consistently provide superior customer service to ECCO’scustomers so they will want to do repeat business with ECCO Supply
- Maintain good working relationship with all co-workers and ECCO employees
- Read and comply with ECCO’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
- Read and comply with ECCO’s Human Resources Policies and Procedures
- Assist in the success of ECCO’s Safety Program with suggestions and by setting a good example,also by ensuring that safety is at the forefront of your actions while at work
- Adhere to shipping and receiving policies, procedures and regulatory compliance procedures
- Receive all manufacturing and resale products accurately in a timely fashion and in compliance with ECCO’s receiving procedures
- Maintain the warehouse, receiving areas, and yard in a clean and organized manner; fill pick bins as necessary and as directed
- Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment
- Pick/ship goods to customers in an efficient and accurate manner
- Ensure proper documentation is supplied with each shipment; this includes packing, sealing, and labeling materials to prepare for shipping
- Fill out/prepare picking tickets
- Assist with loading trailers, preparing and shipping LTL orders as necessary
- Ensure warehouse is appropriately stocked at all times
- Report any maintenance requirements, accidents, incidents, and near-misses immediately to your supervisor
- Participate in yearly inventory count
- Other duties as deemed necessary by Management

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have forklift experience
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50lb
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a busy environment; as well as ability to work within a team
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to be a long term employee and contribute to the company’s overall success
