Join our dynamic team as a Class 1 Team Company Driver operating on the BC–AB lane. This opportunity is ideal for motivated and experienced professional drivers who are committed to safe, efficient, and reliable freight transportation across British Columbia and Alberta.
You’ll play an essential role in our logistics operations by ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety, vehicle operation, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks on the BC–AB route while following all traffic laws and transportation regulations.
- Work closely with your driving partner and dispatch team to coordinate pickups and deliveries efficiently.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including checking brakes, lights, tires, fluid levels, and load securement.
- Safely load and unload freight and operate a forklift when required.
- Handle freight carefully and ensure proper load securement.
- Maintain accurate shipment documentation, delivery records, driver logs, and vehicle maintenance reports.
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform basic truck troubleshooting and minor repairs when required.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, shippers, receivers, and team members.
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and on-time service.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class 1 commercial driving experience.
- Clean driver’s abstract.
- Previous long-haul experience, preferably on the BC–AB lane.
- Experience operating tractor-trailers and handling freight.
- Forklift operation experience is an asset.
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment.
- Basic knowledge of truck maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs.
- Strong understanding of load securement requirements and transportation safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, professional, safety-focused, and able to work effectively as part of a driving team.
