Q-Line Trucking is seeking experienced and dependable Class 1 Drivers to join our Regional Open Deck Division based in Acheson, Alberta.
This role involves hauling over-dimensional deck and RGN freight throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, and occasionally British Columbia. Drivers can expect a mix of local and regional work with regular home time while hauling freight that supports construction, infrastructure, agriculture, and industry across Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport open deck and specialized freight throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia.
- Secure freight using chains, binders, straps, tarps, and other load securement devices.
- Haul construction materials, equipment, machinery, and over-dimensional freight.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs, bills of lading, permits, and required documentation.
- Verify load information and paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
- Comply with all transportation, safety, and Hours of Service regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and operations personnel.
- Deliver freight safely, professionally, and on time.
- Provide occasional assistance in the yard as required.
- Maintain assigned equipment in a clean and professional condition.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence.
- Minimum 2 years of open deck driving experience.
- Experience hauling loads up to 13'4" wide.
- Strong load securement knowledge, including chaining, strapping, and tarping.
- Strong knowledge of transportation safety and regulatory requirements.
- Proven reliability, accountability, and strong work ethic.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting, securing, and handling freight and equipment
