Position Overview:
We are currently seeking for an experienced CNC Machine Operator with experience in turning and milling to join our team. As a Machine Operator at Mill-Turn Machining, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-precision components. The Role and Responsibilities:
- Compute dimensions and tolerances
- Measure and lay out work pieces
- Operate and maintain a variety of machine tools including CNC tools to perform precision machining operations such as sawing, turning, milling, boring, drilling, and other operations
- Adjust for wear to maintain parts in spec
- Fit and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools
- Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
- Empty Chip Bins
- Unload material and accept other deliveries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Maintain and calibrate precision measuring instruments such as dial indicators, fixed gauges, height gauges and other measuring devices
- Complete and maintain inspection reports.
- Deburr and perform other finishing operations on parts
- Perform maintenance on machines and other tools and equipment around the shop
- Any other tasks as asked for by superiors
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
