Neno's Paint & Body is a well established family-owned and operated Auto Body collision repair center with ICBC Accreditation. We take pride in quality workmanship, excellent customer reviews and a relaxed work environment. We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, with experience working preferred. This role involves repairing vehicles to their original condition, utilizing a variety of hand and power tools. The technician will play a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Perform body repairs, panel replacement, and related parts while adhering to safety and quality standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete vehicle repairs to meet shop standards and customer expectations
- Work with estimators, painters, parts staff and management to keep repair process moving efficiently
- Prepare vehicles for painting and refinishing
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and productivity
Qualifications
- Red Seal Certification is required
- Proven experience in automotive body repair or related field; I-CAR or Industry training is a asset but employer will provide additional training
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment
- Experience with automotive repair processes and techniques
- Ability to work with precision and attention to detail to ensure quality results
- Mechanic experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Commitment to safety protocols and continuous improvement in skills
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
