TDE is searching for an Apprentice Welder perform a variety of general duties in both shop and yard fabrication environments.

Responsibilities
- Observe and learn while assisting the Journeymen Welders with their duties.
- Ability to follow instructions exactly as given.
- Read and understand fabrication drawings.
- Precisely cut non-pressure components to the exact measurements required.
- Clean, prepare, cut, and weld non-pressure components following TDE’s WPS.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Report any issues and/or concerns to the direct Supervisor and/or Journeymen Welders.
Requirements
- Working knowledge and background in fabrication, manufacturing, and construction is essential.
- Proficient knowledge of industry best practices.
- Self-motivated and able to work in a high pressure and deadline driven environment.
- Ability to prioritize activities, adapt, and stay focused in a dynamic changing environment.
- Good computer skills are an asset.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact positively with all levels of staff.
