We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery records,including delivery confirmations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Assist in the maintenance of the vehicle
Skills
- Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and regulations.
- Basic automotive repair skills for minor vehicle maintenance.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
