IT Systems & Business Process Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and technically capable IT Systems & Business Process Analyst to support and improve the technology platforms, business systems, and operational processes that drive our organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of technology and business operations, combining hands-on IT administration with process analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day business systems, support users across the organization, help strengthen foundational cybersecurity practices, and play a key role in future system implementations and process optimization projects.
Key Responsibilities
IT Systems Administration & Support
- Administer and support business applications, cloud platforms, and productivity tools.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across company systems.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities from an IT perspective.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and user issues.
- Work with external vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and maintain system performance.
- Maintain system documentation, procedures, and technology inventories.
Business Process Analysis & Improvement
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for increased efficiency, automation, and standardization.
- Collaborate with department leaders to understand operational challenges and recommend system-based solutions.
- Document workflows, requirements, and process improvements.
- Assist with the implementation, configuration, and optimization of business systems, including CRM, ERP, and other operational platforms.
- Support data quality initiatives and reporting requirements across departments.
Cybersecurity & Technology Governance
- Maintain foundational cybersecurity controls, including:
o User access management
o Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
o Backup monitoring and recovery testing
o Endpoint security best practices
o Security awareness initiatives
- Assist with vendor security reviews and technology risk assessments.
- Monitor compliance with internal IT policies and procedures.
- Escalate specialized cybersecurity concerns to external service providers or consultants when required.
Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in technology initiatives and system upgrades.
- Assist with software evaluations, implementation projects, and integrations.
- Support change management and user adoption activities.
- Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions when needed.
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Business Technology Management, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in IT systems administration, business systems support, business analysis, or a similar role.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience documenting business processes and gathering requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Preferred
- Experience with CRM, ERP, or other enterprise business systems.
- Experience with workflow automation tools such as Power Automate.
- Familiarity with reporting and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals and IT best practices.
- Experience working with third-party IT managed service providers.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, ITIL, or Business Analysis credentials are considered assets.

Pay: $95,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
