$45,000–$70,000 annually, with compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
Brief Description: The Auto Body Prepper will prep surfaces for the automotive painter and apply the appropriate masking techniques to ensure a seamless paint finish.
Responsibilities:
● Ability to review repair orders and perform the job as efficiently as possible.
● Ability and willingness to follow standardized production processes.
● Masking vehicles prior to and following the paint process.
● Assist in surface element removal on panels, parts, etc
● Ability to surface prep for items needed to paint
● Assisting Automotive Painters with maintenance of spray booths.
● Upon completion of an assigned job, approaches the Shop Manager to inspect the job.
● Other duties as required
Qualifications:
● High School Diploma or equivalent
● Experience working in body shop - 1+ years preferred
● Registered Apprentice

● Is committed to a full-time work schedule, Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
● Has a positive attitude
● Is organized and tidy in their work
● Adheres to all health and safety policies and procedures
● Has their own transportation
Pay: $21.63-$33.65 per hour
