Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding processes, fabrication techniques and workplace safety standards, along with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components according to specifications and/or drawings, while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality workmanship.
Duties
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as FCAW, MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
- Measure and mark materials using basic math skills and calipers to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect completed welds for quality and adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to build complex structures including cranes and other machinery.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in welding or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with various welding techniques and equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is essential.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and plasma cutting equipment is advantageous.
- Basic math skills are required for accurate measurements and calculations.
