We are currently hiring experienced CAD Operators to work with our client premiere supplier of carbon steel parts-to-print.
Location: Brampton – Orenda and West Drive
*Own Transportation an asset*
Currently hiring for the following shift:
Day Shift: Monday through Friday 7:00AM-3:00PM
Pay Rate $22.00 per hour
CAD Operators:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand and comply with related documents listed above.
- Complete work according to CAD schedule or supervisor instructions.
- Organize equipment, materials, time, and work area for maximum efficiency.
- Read and interpret customer-supplied designs in a variety of formats.
- Operate CAD/CAM software to create production drawings, layouts, and nests.
- Communicate with Sales staff regarding inquiries and issues as needed.
- Provide information and support to Production staff as needed.
- Contribute to the integrity and maintenance of all related databases and files.
EXPERINCE AND REQUIREMENTS
- Analytical and technical mindset.
- Attention to detail, problem solving,
- Computer proficient, Perform intermediate math.
- Read and interpret part drawings.
- Speak, read, write, and understand English at a conversational level.
- Understanding of carbon steel grades and characteristics.
- Previous Draft Experience mandatory
- Solidworks software training and experience required
- Clean Criminal Background check
- Professional Reference
