About the Role
At an exciting time to join the Score Group team based at our facility in Paradise, Newfoundland, Canada, we are seeking a proactive Valve & Actuation Engineer (EIT) to support our activities.
As a Valve & Actuation Engineer (EIT), you will work directly under the supervision of the Engineering Manager. The role requires compliance with all applicable legislative requirements while performing assigned duties. All work must be carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards and work instructions.
The position involved providing technical support to the internal sales and production teams, as well as offering engineering expertise and assistance to other divisions across Score Group.

Main Responsibilities
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards, and work instructions.
- Support valve design reviews, including liaising with clients and stakeholders.
- Perform engineering design calculations in compliance with relevant industry standards.
- Conduct dimensional analysis and verification of components.
- Produce and maintain detailed CAD engineering drawings and documentation.
- Investigate and resolve technical queries and engineering issues.
- Carry out valve failure investigations and provide recommendations for design and process improvements.
- Prepare clear and concise technical reports and engineering documentation.
- Review and select appropriate materials based on design, operational, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support and engineering expertise to departments across the business.
- Any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications & Experience
- Engineering Degree or diploma from college or university and/or have a demonstrated track record of serving in an engineering or projects environment.
- The successful candidate will be required to register with PEGNL.

- Ability to utilize Microsoft Suite including Excel to develop relevant data and maintain applicable file management.
Working Conditions
- Work in indoor office environment 95% of the time.
- Workshop environment 5% of the time.
- Some travel may be required.
