Position Title: Recreation Attendant

Position Overview:
Promoting a fun and relaxing environment for our guests, this role reports directly to the Recreation and Leisure Manager or Recreation Supervisor. Is responsible for maintaining the recreation areas for guests and assists the Recreation Department in facilitating recreation activities during peak times.

- Providing efficient, attentive and friendly service to the guest

Qualifications:
- WHMIS
- First Aid
- Providing direct guest services in the work area
- Maintaining cleanliness of the work area
- Programming in the work area
- Reports to work on time and in full uniform
- Follows established sign in/out procedures
- Knowledge of services offered in the hotel
- Maintains staff adherence to established standards
- Maintains staffing levels and provides training
- Maintenance and cleanliness of work area (pools, change rooms, corridors, and grounds)

- Maintenance and organization of recreation supplies

Working Conditions:
● Must be able to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
● Required to move, lift, carry, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance

● Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting and pulling
● Move over sloping, uneven or slippery surfaces

Pay: $17.00-$17.75 per hour
