Job Title: Sign Installer
Department: Installation
Position Overview:
As a Sign Installer, you will be responsible for efficiently building and installing commercial and residential signs and related products - primarily within, but not limited to, the real estate and building industry. This role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· You will report directly to the Crew Lead and be expected to follow instructions while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ensure all necessary equipment is loaded into the truck/trailer before heading to the job site
- Confirm all printed panels/boards required for the day are included and accounted for
- Adhere to all safety standards and ensure proper use of safety equipment at all times
- Test all hand tools and charge batteries the night before to ensure optimal performance
- Be open and willing to participate in any training provided by the company
- Operate work trucks and tow trailers as needed
- Demonstrate reliability and punctuality consistently
- Maintain a strong attention to detail in all tasks
Qualifications & Other Skills/Abilities:
- Basic carpentry knowledge
- Experience using hand tools (some personal tools required)
- Comfortable working at heights and using ladders
- Physically able to lift and move heavy objects
- Willing to work overtime when needed
- Class G Ontario Driver’s License required
- Must have reliable transportation to and from our shop in Sunderland, ON
- Working at Heights Certification (Preferred)
- Boom Lift Certification (Preferred)
- WHMIS Certification (Preferred)
- Previous experience in the sign or construction industry is an advantage
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 46 per week
