We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Muay Thai Instructor to join our fitness and martial arts team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Muay Thai techniques and a genuine enthusiasm for helping students improve their skills, fitness, and confidence. The Muay Thai Instructor will be responsible for delivering engaging classes, ensuring safety, and fostering a motivating atmosphere for all participants. Bring their own clients as well
Responsibilities
- Lead and instruct Muay Thai classes for students of various ages and skill levels, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed
- Develop customized training plans to meet individual student needs and goals
- Demonstrate techniques effectively, providing clear guidance and feedback to enhance learning outcomes
- Monitor student progress and provide encouragement to foster motivation and confidence
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe training environment at all times
- Promote a positive attitude and respectful behavior among students during classes
- Assist in scheduling classes, managing class attendance, and maintaining accurate records of student progress
- Support the overall growth of the program through community engagement and promotional activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching Muay Thai or similar martial arts disciplines
- Strong knowledge of Muay Thai techniques, training methods, and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage students effectively
- Prior experience in teaching swimming is considered a plus but is not required
- Passionate about fitness, martial arts, and helping others achieve their goals
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends if needed
- Certification in first aid or CPR is preferred but not mandatory
- A positive attitude, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous learning are essential for success in this role
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
