Part-Time Medical Office Assistant (MOA) – Mondays
A fast-paced, established private podiatry clinic in Kitsilano is seeking an experienced Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our team on Mondays.
Position Details
- 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM shift on Mondays
- $25–$29 per hour, depending on experience
- Opportunity for future casual shifts (irregular shifts on a mutually agreeable basis)
- Training will be provided

The successful candidate will be an organized and dependable team member who is comfortable working in a busy clinical environment and managing multiple priorities throughout the day.
Qualifications
- Previous MOA, CDA, or medical/dental office experience required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, email, and internet-based applications
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred but not required

- Demonstrates sound judgment and professionalism
- Possesses excellent time-management and multitasking skills
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Answering patient phone calls and email inquiries
- Greeting patients and providing excellent customer service in person and on the phone
- Scheduling appointments and diagnostic tests
- Responding to physicians' instructions and assisting with patient communications
- Cleaning and disinfecting treatment rooms
- Disinfecting and sterilizing instruments
- Electronic filing and faxing using the Plexia EMR system
- Communicating clinic policies, procedures, and fees
- Maintaining patient confidentiality
- Creating invoices and receipts, processing payments, and operating the point-of-sale (POS) system
