Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the sales department, including hiring, training, and coaching sales staff to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize dealership profitability and market share.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze sales data, and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with other department managers to coordinate sales efforts, streamline processes, and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Lead by example and uphold the dealership's standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales management.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Valid OMVIC certification.
