Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using OpenTable POS
- Enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality and adherence to food safety standards
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering and processing payments efficiently
- Support restaurant operations by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with guest relations to ensure a seamless experience
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Proficiency with POS systems such Micros POS or OpenTable is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations accurately
- Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus but not mandatory; a passion for the food industry is essential
- Previous experience with serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or food preparation enhances your candidacy
