Part Time Position with Possibility of Expanding to Full Time
At Sky Surplus Inc, we believe in giving used lab, medical, and industrial equipment a new life. We do this by finding a new home for the various used equipment we come across, thereby extending its useful lifespan, and keeping it out of the landfill.
Candidate must be able to do the following:
1) Have excellent computer skills (using Microsoft word, powerpoint, excel, comfortable using with ERP system), able to navigate different folders, subfolders, and sort pictures accurately.
2) ability to list/ willing to learn to list items on various marketplaces like ebay
In addition, candidate must be able to do the following:
· Lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted and being able to push items (on wheels) as heavy as 700 lbs unassisted
· Comfortable using a pallet jack; ability to use a forklift is an asset
· Receiving, cleaning, storing, packing, and shipping of items
· Take accurate and detailed photographs of items
· Have high attention to detail needed
· Be comfortable with administrative tasks, such as data entry and file management
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or a similar role
· Has Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office 365
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Detail Oriented - Must have high attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Basic Knowledge of Medical and Lab Equipment would be ideal.
Pay: $21.00 per hour
