Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to lead our digital marketing efforts across various platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and filming engaging content, managing social media campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics to enhance brand visibility and engagement. This role requires filming, editing, managing websites, in-house graphics, etc.
We are a restaurant group so you would be responsible for the social media marketing for 5 different brands across 7 locations in the Vaughan area.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with company goals
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others using tools like Hootsuite and Buffer
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, including Facebook Advertising, to increase reach and conversions
- Design visually appealing graphics and multimedia content utilizing Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Conduct keyword research to optimize content for SEO and improve organic search rankings
- Monitor social media trends and incorporate best practices into campaigns
- Analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics and platform insights to measure success and inform future strategies
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all digital channels
- Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and brand voice before publishing
Experience
- Proven experience in social media management within a digital marketing or e-commerce environment
- Strong knowledge of SEO principles and keyword research techniques
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- Experience managing paid advertising campaigns on Facebook and other social platforms
- Familiarity with social media management tools like Hootsuite and Buffer (application)
- Ability to analyze data using Google Analytics to assess campaign effectiveness
- Excellent proofreading skills to ensure high-quality content
- Prior experience in digital marketing strategies including content creation, campaign management, and performance analysis is highly desirable
Pay: $52,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
