As we expand our operations and continue to strengthen our partnerships, we are seeking an experienced Production Scheduler. The GFR Pharma Scheduler plays a crucial role in supporting the Production team and facilitating the scheduling excellence.

Main Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Accountable for the schedule and leads the weekly Scheduling Meetings
- Provide regular updates to management on production status, challenges, and forecasts.
- Update daily, weekly, or monthly production schedules, considering factors like material availability, labor, and machine capacity.
- Collaborate with production teams, procurement, and quality control to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Track progress on production orders and work with Operations Analyst on identifying bottlenecks and analyzing data to pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Review work orders to determine outlying raw materials or packaging.
- Identify any Purchase Orders not yet confirmed – send inquiry to purchasing team for update on confirmation delivery date.
- Identify all required components have been confirmed and move to schedule in an appropriate time slot to ensure on-time delivery.
- Other planning duties as assigned.
Experience Required:
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in production scheduling/planning.
- Understanding of ERP/MRP systems (SAP an asset).
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain schedules and track production details.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with various teams.
- Ability to quickly assess and resolve issues that arise during the production process.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment an asset.
- A degree in a related field (e.g., operations management) is an asset
Expected annual salary: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00
