Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Yard Staff and Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves assisting with yard operations, helping customers with pick-up orders, and delivering materials to customers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience with warehouse operations, and the ability to handle heavy lifting.
Duties
- Safely and efficiently deliver materials.
- Safely move items within the yard, ensuring proper stacking and organization.
- Operate commercial vehicles to deliver products to clients in a timely manner.
- Pick orders for delivery and pick up.
- Assist customers with on site pick ups.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during yard operations and deliveries
- Perform heavy lifting of materials (50lbs)
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries
Requirements
- Must work well with others and independently.
- Valid G driver's license.
- Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is desirable but not mandatory; training may be provided
- Knowledge of building materials an asset but not required.
- Own transportation to and from work.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
