Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive functional and movement assessments
- Develop individualized exercise and rehabilitation programs
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercise, functional training, and injury prevention
- Educate patients on posture, ergonomics, and healthy movement strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Qualifications
- Registered with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK), or eligible for registration
- Professional liability insurance
- Fluent in both English and Chinese (spoken) to effectively communicate with our patient population
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent clinical reasoning and exercise prescription skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Experience in the Following Is an Asset
- ICBC rehabilitation
- WorkSafeBC (WCB) rehabilitation
- Active rehabilitation and exercise therapy
- Orthopedic and sports injury rehabilitation
- Chronic pain management
- Return-to-work and functional conditioning programs
