URGENT HIRING – 310T LICENSED TRUCK & TRAILER MECHANIC
MJ Express is hiring an experienced 310T Licensed Mechanic to join our team immediately.
We are looking for a skilled and reliable 310T Truck and Coach Technician who is highly proficient in diagnosing and repairing Freightliner and Western Star trucks. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, be confident working independently, and take pride in keeping our fleet safe and road-ready.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair Freightliner and Western Star trucks
- Perform electrical, engine, brake, suspension, and after-treatment diagnostics
- Complete preventative maintenance and scheduled service
- Perform safety inspections and repairs
- Troubleshoot check engine lights, ABS faults, DEF / emissions systems, and electrical issues
- Use diagnostic software and scan tools efficiently
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Ensure all work meets MTO and CVOR compliance standards
Requirements:
- Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician License (required)
- Strong experience with Freightliner Cascadia and Western Star diagnostics
- Experience with Detroit engine systems preferred
- Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical issues quickly
- Valid driver’s license (AZ/DZ an asset)
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
