Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas regularly
- Support the food handling process by organizing supplies and ensuring proper storage of ingredients
- Help with meal preparation and plating as directed by chefs or kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and proper handling procedures at all times
- Collaborate with team members to keep the kitchen organized, stocked, and running smoothly during busy hours
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key!
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation processes
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices
