Position Overview: The Dispensary Supervisor will be a key player in managing the daily operations of SE-MI-AH-MU Canna Co. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of cannabis products and regulatory compliance, as well as a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be passionate about our Indigenous values, dedicated to guiding a team, and contributing to the overall success of our dispensary. This position is full-time and permanent working nights and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, mentor, and support dispensary staff, including training new team members and conducting performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with all state and local cannabis regulations and company policies.
- Oversee inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and ordering products.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Manage financial transactions, including cash handling and daily reconciliation.
- Implement and enforce policies to maintain a safe and secure environment for both staff and customers.
- Collaborate with management to develop and execute strategies to boost sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience in a retail or cannabis environment is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cannabis products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Must pass a background check and obtain any necessary state certifications.
- An appreciation for and understanding of Indigenous culture and values is highly desirable.
- Night shift and weekend availability
