Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to maintain a safe and secure environment at our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring premises, preventing loss, and ensuring the safety of personnel and property. This role requires a professional with a keen eye for detail, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Prior experience in law enforcement or surveillance is a plus, but we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and ensure security protocols are followed
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as needed
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches
- Enforce loss prevention measures by observing and reporting suspicious behavior
- Control access points by verifying credentials of visitors and employees
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Conduct inspections of facilities to ensure safety standards are upheld
Requirements
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Knowledge of CCTV operation and surveillance techniques is advantageous
- Strong observational skills with the ability to recognize potential threats or safety hazards
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond quickly when required
- Must be at least 18 years old with reliable transportation to shifts if applicable
