Overview
We are looking for a Designer / Project Coordinator to join our team in our Maple Ridge office. This role involves working closely with our Lead Designer to support the design process, while also having the opportunity to lead design projects. The position also includes project coordination and communication with our on-site supervisors and in-office team to help keep projects organized and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural drafting and preparation of design & construction drawings
- Full-scale interior design, including concept development and selections
- Conducting site visits and taking site measurements
- Requesting, organizing, and tracking quotations from trades & suppliers
- Assisting with project scheduling and coordination
- Preparing documentation for building permit submissions
Preferred Skills
- Must be highly proficient in AutoCAD
- Knowledge of BC Building Code & can interpret municipal zoning bylaws
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team
- Comfortable communicating with team members, trades, and clients
- Creative and artistic, with an interest in contributing ideas to help us grow
- Experience in interior design and construction drawings
Location & Hours
We work out of our office in Maple Ridge, BC. Hours are flexible.
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
