Position: Journeyman HVAC / Sheet metal Technician (Commercial Trailer Units)
Salary: $37-39/hour
Location: Acheson AB
Permanent Full Time position - 40 hours per week + regular overtime as needed.
We are currently seeking 2 Journeyman/woman (or experienced Apprentices) with HVAC/ Sheet metal installation for various trailer units. This position would be responsible to lay out, cut/fabricate and install various sheet metal HVAC components as well as installing hangers and supports. This position is working inside a contained manufacturing plant
Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout and specifications of HVAC systems
- Assemble, install, and repairing various Heating and Ventilation components
- Working closely with other trades
- Test HVAC systems for performance and adequacy
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure proper installation and functionality of HVAC systems
Experience:
- Apprentice HVAC tech (or experienced sheet metal labourer) license or equivalent certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
