Job Summary
We are seeking a caring and responsible Nanny to provide attentive childcare and support in a safe, nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to fostering a positive development experience for children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and growth. This role involves engaging children in educational activities, preparing nutritious meals, and maintaining a clean and organized home environment.
Duties
- Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure safety at all times
- Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs
- Assist with homework, teaching, and age-appropriate educational activities
- Engage children in play, reading, arts and crafts, and other developmental activities
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning up after children and maintaining their living spaces
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, needs, and any concerns
Skills
- Experience in caregiving or working with children of various ages is preferred but not required.
- Ability to cook nutritious meals and prepare snacks for children.
- Strong cleaning skills to maintain a tidy living environment
- Patience, compassion, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to teach basic skills and foster learning through engaging activities
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and children's needs
- Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy with a genuine love for children
- Must have a valid class 5 driver's license
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
