About the Hotel
The Courtyard by Marriott Kingston is a 128-room hotel, owned and operated by Easton's Group of Hotels. Located just off the 401 hwy, it features 2 meeting rooms, the Bistro restaurant and a heated pool with a 100-ft water slide.

Courtyard by Marriott Kingston is looking for someone who is friendly and professional to join our Guest Services team!
What will you be doing?
-
Assist in supervising the front desk function; ensure staff is properly trained including service expectations, hotel facilities and services, local directions, property management and reservations systems, safety, and emergency procedures, etc. courteously.

Monitor performance and recommend corrective or disciplinary action. Alert management of potentially serious issues.

Responding appropriately to guest requests; promotes hotel services, facilities, and outlets; providing guests with information such as local attractions and directions to increase satisfaction. Making appropriate service recovery gestures to ensure total guest satisfaction.

Perform other duties as assigned which may include guest room tours, concierge services, special guest requests, etc.).

Promoting teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with others
What are the requirements for this role?

Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.Basic reading, writing and math abilities.

High School diploma or equivalent, plus one-year front desk/guest service experience. Some college is preferred.

May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Strong communication skills

Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, and training abilities are often used.
