Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the property, preventing theft or vandalism, and responding promptly to security incidents. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to handle emergency situations professionally.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Enforce loss prevention policies by identifying suspicious behavior and preventing theft or damage
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, including medical incidents or security breaches
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes
- Assist visitors and staff by providing directions or information as needed
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during incidents requiring external intervention
Requirements
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is preferred
- Knowledge of CCTV operation and surveillance techniques is highly desirable
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Must be physically fit to patrol large areas and stand for extended periods
- Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations (if applicable)
- Ability to pass background checks and any necessary screening processes
