Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our retail team. This role is vital in delivering exceptional customer experiences, managing transactions efficiently, and promoting our products and services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong sense of organization, food assembly and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
More hours may become available as the company grows, for the right person. The right candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a supervising position within the company.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service.
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions.
- Assist customers with product inquiries.
- Make food to order.
- Handle cash, debit and credit card transactions.
- Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met throughout the restaurant.
- Clean up tables, floors, prep areas and equipment.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge to effectively communicate features and answer customer questions.
- Manage time efficiently to serve multiple customers promptly during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills.
- Food service and production.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Friendly interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated time management skills and professionalism in communication.
