Job Title: Business Analyst – Capital Markets (Wholesale Finance)
Location: Toronto, Ontario (ON)

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Capital Markets (Wholesale Finance) with strong expertise in requirements management, Capital Markets products and processes, data analysis, and system integration. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technology teams to define requirements, analyze data, and support complex financial technology initiatives.
- Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and system requirements
- Lead requirements planning, prioritization, elicitation, and validation
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Capital Markets, Finance, Product Control, and Technology
- Analyze Capital Markets products, processes, data sources, and mappings
- Support data sourcing and mapping for major Capital Markets products
- Query and analyze data using SQL
- Create business process flows, diagrams, and documentation using MS Visio
- Perform advanced data analysis and reporting using MS Excel
- Work with APIs, Python, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions
- Support workflow and process automation initiatives using JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow
- Analyze system integration requirements including ETL processes and data pipelines
- Support DevOps practices and technology delivery processes
- Collaborate on machine learning and predictive analytics initiatives
- Support Product Control processes and understand their role within Capital Markets
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst on large and complex projects
- Strong knowledge of Capital Markets products and processes
- Proven experience in requirements planning, prioritization, and elicitation
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Visio
- Strong SQL querying and data analysis skills
- Experience with APIs, Python, and AI
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or ServiceNow
- Strong understanding of system integration, ETL, and data pipelines
- Understanding of Product Control within Capital Markets
- Hands-on experience with Capital Markets data sourcing and mapping
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
- Understanding of machine learning and predictive analytics concepts
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field
