Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Production Kitchen Helper to support our food manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will assist in various stages of food processing, packaging, and sanitation within a fast-paced environment. This role is essential for maintaining efficient production workflows while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. The position offers an opportunity to gain experience in the food industry and manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and packaging of food products according to established standards
- Operate basic equipment, including Meat Slicers and Vac Sealers
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment to comply with food safety regulations
- Support the movement of raw materials and finished products within the facility using appropriate handling techniques
- Perform quality checks and ensure proper labeling of products
- Follow safety procedures at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Assist with inventory management and stock organization as needed
- Support team members in maintaining a safe, efficient, and clean work environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in the food industry or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety standards
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating machinery such as forklifts is a plus
- Basic math skills for measurements, counting, and inventory management
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team
This position offers valuable hands-on experience in food processing and manufacturing operations within a supportive team environment.
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

- Meat Production : 3 years (required)
