We are seeking a experienced Auto Body Painter for a temporary position to join our team. Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and priming to ensure proper paint adhesion
- Apply paint using spray guns, power tools, and hand tools, following specified color codes and patterns
- Inspect finished surfaces for quality, consistency, and adherence to dealership standards
- Perform minor repairs or touch-ups as needed to achieve optimal results
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment operation
- Assist with other automotive repair tasks as required, including heavy lifting and mechanical work
Qualifications
- Prior experience in dealership auto body painting or automotive repair preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and repair processes
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment used in auto body painting
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Knowledge of automotive painting techniques and color matching skills is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow safety guidelines
