Job Duties:
- Read and interpret electrical drawings
- Must understand PLC ladder logic and text-based logic programs.
- Programming automation and control systems
- Create and read logic and flow diagrams for program design
- Perform programming, simulation, testing, and start-up
- Design, develop, program & troubleshoot new PLC & HMI
- Responsible for programming, start-up and debug of automated machines
- Will be the programming technical lead when required
- Debug & Troubleshooting knowledge
- Develop and implement standard engineering practices, as well as provide detailed documentation upon project completion and start-up
- Write PLC logic
- Interpret & understand mechanical sequence
Education & Qualifications:
- PLC programming, industrial electrical and robotics equipment.
- Trade certification an asset.
- 10 years' work experience in the PLC/HMI programming field.
- Previous experience with Omron, AB is an asset.
- Understanding of all aspects related to manufacturing automation.
- Must be able to work independently and in team setting and ask for expertise of others when needed
- Capable of managing multitasking and maintain timing de
- adlines.
- Integration experience

Pay: $34.50-$42.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
