We are seeking a sales-driven Sales Associate with a passion for tools and customer service. In this role, you will help drive store sales, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and build lasting relationships with contractors, tradespeople, and industrial clients. You will also support the Store Manager in maintaining store standards and identifying opportunities for business growth.
This position is an excellent entry point into our sales organization, with opportunities to grow into senior sales or management roles as we continue to expand.

Sales Associate – Your Role
Reporting to the store Manager, the Sales Associate plays a key role in achieving store objectives. Ambitious and results-driven, you will leverage strong product knowledge to provide expert guidance, deliver excellent customer service, and contribute to sales growth.
You will work in a high-traffic, 15,000 sq. ft. store with nearly 12,000 products, ensuring customers receive the right solutions while supporting the store’s overall success.
Main Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by engaging with customers and understanding their needs
- Build strong relationships with contractors, tradespeople, and industrial clients
- Provide accurate product recommendations and highlight upselling opportunities
- Identify potential sales opportunities and share them with the store Manager
- Participate in daily floor walks with the Manager to ensure stock levels, pricing accuracy, promotional tagging, and store standards are maintained
- Collaborate with colleagues, other stores, and head office to ensure smooth communication and alignment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly sales floor
- Stay up to date on product knowledge, marketing strategies, and competitor activity to support business growth
What You Bring
- 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in a retail or industrial sales environment
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in the tool industry or a related field
- Proven ability to achieve results and a strong motivation to grow within the tooling industry
- Functional knowledge of tools, or the ability and willingness to learn quickly
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop strong customer relationships
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and adaptability to changing priorities or unforeseen events
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

- Training in sales considered an asset
- Must have a valid driver's license.
Additional Details
- Full-time, permanent position (40 hours per week)
- Five-day workweek includes two days off: Sunday (store closed) and one weekday
- Statutory holidays off.
- Must be available to work Saturdays
