We are looking for a hydrovac operator to provide a safety focused service to our broad customer base. Some of the services we provide include: hydro excavating; mainline sewer cleaning; liquid hauling; hazardous waste hauling; and emergency spill response.
We seek individuals with a strong work ethic, integrity and discipline. Our industry is extremely safety sensitive and we pride ourselves on a workforce that rises to the highest standard. Applicants must be able to perform physically challenging tasks in all weather. Customer service, organizational and administrative ability considered an asset.
What you need to be successful:
· Valid BC Class 1 or 3 license with air-brake endorsement
· Available 8-12 hours a day with a rotating on-call schedule
· Experience in a physically demanding position
· Strong command of the English language
· Reliable team player with a positive attitude
Benefits of this full-time union position:
· Operator training wage $31.58 increases to $37.42 after 3 months.
· Overtime after 8 hours, Double time after 11 hours and on weekends
