Overview
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Deli / Food Prep Associate to join our team at our busy truck stop. This position involves preparing fresh food items for our gas station deli section, ensuring products are made to a high standard and stocked for customers throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sandwiches, wraps, burgers, subs, and other deli items.
- Package, label, and stock food products in deli refrigerators and display cases.
- Maintain food quality, freshness, and presentation standards.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Monitor inventory and report items that need replenishing.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and sanitized.
- Assist with other food service duties and cleaning as required.
Experience
- Previous food preparation, deli, restaurant, or kitchen experience is an asset but not required
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and food safety practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent schedule.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.60 per hour
