Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist specializing in 3 Axis Machines to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have 5 years experience, be able to interpret technical drawings, and program equipment to produce precision components. The CNC Machinist will play a vital part in ensuring high-quality production while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate and set up CNC milling machines, including 3-axis machines, ensuring precise execution of manufacturing specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining requirements
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and inspection of CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Select appropriate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for assembly or finishing tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols and lean manufacturing principles
- Collaborate with team members on assembly processes and support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC milling machines, particularly 3-axis machines, with familiarity in CNC programming and troubleshooting
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings effectively
- Experience working with CNC control systems
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment accurately
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Possess the discipline to execute tasks without procrastination
- Good time management to work at a good pace, executing work orders and demands
- Proper maintenance of machines and general housekeeping of the work area.
- All work in accordance with the company quality and safety standard
- Good human relations to relate cordially with tem members and workers
Pay: $30.00-$31.00 per hour
