Overview
We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Cabinet Finisher to join our manufacturing team. This role involves applying finishes, touch-ups, and quality checks to ensure our cabinets meet high standards of craftsmanship and aesthetics. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with various tools, and familiarity with manufacturing processes. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and safety are paramount.
Responsibilities
- Apply stains, paints, or finishes to kitchen cabinets using air assisted spray guns
- Perform sanding, buffing, and touch-up work to achieve a smooth, professional surface
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure finishes meet company standards
- Assist in sanding department
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
Skills
- Experience operating cup guns, and spray systems for applying primers, paints and lacquers.
- Experience mixing chemicals (catalyst and thinners) to painted products
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during finishing processes
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
