Responsibilities
- Lead fun, structured gymnastics classes tailored to various age groups and skill levels
- Teach proper techniques for tumbling, balance, strength, and flexibility exercises
- Ensure all participants adhere to safety guidelines and use equipment correctly
- Create an inclusive environment that encourages confidence, teamwork, and personal growth
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
- Maintain a clean, organized gym space and inspect equipment regularly for safety compliance
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and safety concerns
Requirements
- Proven experience in teaching gymnastics or related physical activities
- Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use
- Ability to motivate and engage students of diverse ages and skill levels
- Excellent communication skills to clearly demonstrate skills and give feedback
- Basic swimming skills are preferred to support water-related activities or emergencies
- Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for promoting physical activity and healthy living
- Ability to stand, move, and demonstrate exercises for extended periods
