Duties
- Operate commercial laundry equipment to wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, and guest uniforms efficiently and thoroughly
- Sort laundry items according to color, fabric type, and cleaning instructions to prevent damage and ensure quality results
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, adhering to safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Monitor laundry supplies and notify management when stock levels are low to ensure uninterrupted service
- Follow proper procedures for handling delicate fabrics and special cleaning requests from guests or staff
- Assist with general cleaning tasks around the hotel as needed to support overall cleanliness standards
- Ensure all laundry processes comply with health regulations and hotel policies for sanitation
Skills
- Previous experience in hotel laundry services or general cleaning roles is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of laundry procedures, including operating commercial washers and dryers
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure linens are spotless, well-folded, and properly stored
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Good communication skills for coordinating with housekeeping staff and management
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks with precision
