Lead Our Maintenance Team at One of Ontario's Growing Family-Owned Trucking Companies
KJS Transport Inc. is a second-generation, family-owned transportation company founded in 2003. Operating a fleet of 120 tractors and 300 dry van trailers, we are seeking an experienced Licensed Truck & Trailer Maintenance Manager to oversee our in-house maintenance department.

Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our truck and trailer maintenance department.
- Supervise and mentor licensed technicians and apprentices.
- Schedule preventive maintenance and repairs to maximize fleet uptime.
- Diagnose and oversee repairs on Freightliner Cascadia tractors and dry van trailers.
- Manage and coordinate all over-the-road breakdowns by dispatching repair vendors, communicating with drivers, approving repair estimates, and ensuring equipment returns to service as quickly and cost-effectively as possible.
- Coordinate warranty repairs, parts procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with MTO, CVOR, NSC, and safety regulations.
- Manage maintenance records, inspections, and repair documentation.
- Control maintenance costs while maintaining the highest safety standards.
- Work closely with Operations to minimize equipment downtime.
Qualifications
- Valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician Licence (required).
- Previous experience managing or supervising a commercial truck maintenance shop.
- Extensive experience with Freightliner Cascadia tractors.
- Strong diagnostic, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, aftertreatment systems, electrical diagnostics, and preventative maintenance programs.
- Experience managing technicians, inventory, and maintenance scheduling.

Pay: $61,191.95-$117,767.70 per year
