Job Overview
City Centre Surgery (CCS) is a new, state-of-the-art private surgical facility in Surrey, BC. Operating with a high-efficiency model, our facility is owned and operated by 19 physicians and employs a dedicated clinical staff of over 50 professionals.
We are seeking a highly organized Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). A suitable candidate will have experience with the following:
- Admitting patients to the facility and performing various preoperative tasks
- Assisting in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Facilitating discharges from the facility.
- Assisting with follow-up phone calls
- Working with front office staff to check and create charts
- Experience working with Surgeons and Anaesthesiologists
Qualifications:
- Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives. (BCCNM)
- Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in acute care.
- Knowledge and experience working in PACU
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00-$41.00 per hour
