Operations Manager — Kart TrackAbout the Role
We are seeking a hands-on, organized, and safety-focused Operations Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our kart track. This role is responsible for ensuring a smooth guest experience, maintaining high safety standards, leading frontline staff, coordinating track activity, and supporting the overall performance of the facility.

Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Operations
- Oversee day-to-day track operations, including race flow, bookings, staffing, opening and closing procedures, and guest service.
- Ensure all activities run safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Monitor track activity and respond quickly to operational issues, delays, incidents, or customer concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional facility at all times.
Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, schedule, and support track staff, race marshals, front desk team members, and other operational employees.
- Set clear expectations for safety, service, punctuality, and professionalism.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and performance support to team members.
- Help build a positive, accountable, and team-oriented workplace culture.
Safety and Compliance
- Enforce all track safety rules, operating procedures, and guest requirements.
- Ensure staff are properly trained on safety protocols, emergency procedures, kart operation, and customer management.
- Document and report incidents, maintenance concerns, guest issues, and safety risks.
- Work proactively to identify and reduce operational risks.
Customer Experience
- Ensure guests receive a welcoming, professional, and memorable experience from arrival to departure.
- Resolve guest concerns calmly and effectively.
- Support private events, group bookings, parties, leagues, and corporate events.
- Look for ways to improve the customer journey and increase repeat visits.
Equipment and Facility Coordination
- Coordinate with mechanics or maintenance staff to ensure karts, timing systems, safety barriers, radios, helmets, and facility equipment are ready for daily use.
- Report equipment issues promptly and help prioritize repairs or service needs.
- Monitor inventory of operational supplies, safety gear, cleaning products, and event materials.
Business Performance
- Support revenue goals by helping optimize bookings, race flow, staffing efficiency, and event execution.
- Track operational performance, customer feedback, staffing needs, and recurring issues.
- Assist with implementing promotions, process improvements, and new operational initiatives.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in operations, recreation, hospitality, motorsports, entertainment, attractions, or a similar fast-paced customer-facing environment.
- Experience supervising or managing a team.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stay calm and make good decisions under pressure.
- Strong attention to safety, detail, and guest experience.
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
- Basic mechanical understanding or motorsports knowledge is an asset, but not required.
- First aid certification is an asset.
