AZ Driver – Toronto to Montreal / Long Haul Job Overview
Tamber Freight Systems is looking for a reliable and experienced AZ Driver for refrigerated freight work. The driver must be flexible and available for both Toronto to Montreal trips and long-haul runs when required.
Toronto to Montreal work is paid per trip. Long-haul work is paid per mile.
We are looking for someone professional, punctual, and safety-focused with a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailer equipment
- Complete Toronto to Montreal trips as scheduled
- Complete long-haul runs when required
- Monitor reefer temperature and maintain proper settings
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Keep accurate logs, paperwork, and delivery documents
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, delivery issues, or equipment concerns
- Ensure freight is secure and delivered safely
- Follow all company safety policies and transportation regulations
Requirements
- Valid Ontario AZ driver’s licence
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable AZ driving experience preferred
- Clean driver’s abstract and CVOR
- Reefer experience is an asset
- Must be flexible for Toronto–Montreal and long-haul work
- Able to cross provinces and stay out when required
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Good communication skills
- Strong knowledge of safe driving and load securement
Pay Structure
- Toronto to Montreal: paid per trip
- Long haul: paid per mile
- Pay details discussed during interview based on experience
Schedule
- Flexible schedule required
- Trips may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight runs
